Oberpleis is a district of Königswinter, which lies on the side of the Siebengebirge in the Pleiser Hügelland facing away from the Rhine. The district of Oberpleis with surrounding villages has 8761 inhabitants, the district itself 4231 and is thus one of the largest in Königswinter. Due to its proximity to Bonn, its location on the A 3 motorway, its proximity to the Siegburg ICE train station and the proximity of the Siebengebirge forest and nature reserve, Oberpleis has been a growing place to live for years.
