The old knight's estate of Seppenhagen was demolished in the 1980s of the last century. Today, the area, which is still surrounded by a well-preserved moat, features newer buildings that can be disregarded architecturally. The property is used for agricultural purposes.
What remains today is merely the old watermill of the estate outside the moat, which is fed by the Werse. The mill is called Veringsmühle. It was probably built in the mid to late 17th century for the Lords of Ketteler. Today, the mill is used as a residence.
