Dinkelsteen II
During the LAGA-2003, 13 sandstone sculptures were placed along the river Dinkel through an art project, initiated by Anke Engels, so-called Dinkelstones (Dinkelsteine). These stones were placed along a 13-kilometre stretch between Epe and Losser, always as close as possible to the river Dinkel. Later, these were supplemented with 12 more Dinkelstenen as far as Beuningen.
This is Dinkelsteen-II made by Mandir E tickets and is called Mediation.
The stone with the colorful flowers invites you to meditate. One must be able to sit on carved seatstones: "Sit still, do nothing, spring will come of its own accord".
