Garlstorf

Garlstorf is a small village with around one thousand inhabitants located on the eastern edge of the Lüneburg Heath.
The village is surrounded by the nature protection area "Garlstorfer Wald" and is a member of the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park.
The original character of the village is preserved by the remaining thatched-roof Niedersachsen houses in the village center.
You can easily reach us via the A7 motorway Hamburg - Hanover, exit Garlstorf (about 40 kilometers south of Hamburg).
The proximity to the motorway and the metropolis of Hamburg makes the village interesting for business travelers, commuters, and families with children (kindergartens and all types of schools are available in the neighboring towns) as well as for holiday guests, as the vacation starts right behind the motorway.
Nature lovers can experience the landscape through walks and hikes.
Riders will find an extensive network of riding trails. Fans of Nordic walking appreciate the less crowded paths in the woods and fields.
Cyclists enjoy the continuously growing network of bike paths, and when it's time for relaxation and sports, the cities of Lüneburg, with its beautiful medieval old town (20km), and Hamburg (theater, museums, shopping) offer a diverse program.
