Cycling tour: The chocolate sides of Lausitz (from/to Cottbus)

Whoever cycles diligently will be rewarded with something sweet. Our bike tour combines lush nature with culinary delights around chocolate. Through Puschkinpromenade you reach the Spree. Cross Käthe-Kollwitz-Brücke, turn right onto Spreeradweg, and follow the signs to Stadtring. Follow the signs to Parkplatz Kastanienalle. From there, take the paved road up to Parkschmiede. Through the English Avenue, you will reach the village of Haasow, Kathlower Mühle, and then Kathlow. The next stop on your tour is the town of Sergen. Via forest paths, you will reach Komptendorf and Drieschnitz-Kahsel/Vorwerk. About 3 km of signposted cycle paths lead you to the chocolate paradise. Coffee and cake, playgrounds, petting zoo, chocolate and ice cream specialties are the culinary highlights of this bike tour. The return journey leads via Wadelsdorf and Bagenz to Spremberger Stausee with a beach and snack bar. Bräsinchen, Groß Oßnig, and Gallinchen are the final stops before you reach Cottbus again. From Gallinchen, you will once again use the Spreeradweg to reach the city center.And what is there to discover along the way or with small detours?
