WT5 Familienradtour rund um Wüstenrot

Would you like to explore the landscape of the Löwenstein mountains by bike, but are not a muscular competitive athlete? Or would you simply like to go on a leisurely cycle tour with the family?

Then this tour is just right for you.

Start your tour in Wüstenrot. As a house builder, you can find out about this idea directly at the Bausparmuseum.

From there, take a leisurely ride through a beautiful wooded area via Weihenbronn to Neuhütten. In Neuhütten, you have already completed half of the route - so there is time for a leisurely rest.

A few meters off the route is the lookout tower Steinknickle with a cosy rest area and children's playground. This is a wonderful place to rest and relax with a view over the Weinsberg valley and the Hohenlohe plain. Just below the Steinknickle is a Naturfreundehaus, which is usually open at weekends.The second stage of your tour takes you across meadows and fields to Hasenhof, Spatzenhof and once around the Stangenberg. If numerous birds of prey circle above you on the way, don't be surprised: they live in their own "hotel" in the sparrow forest.

Just before the end of the tour, a real treat awaits the adventurous among you. Armed with a flashlight and wellies, you can go on a discovery tour in the Silberstollen. From the Silberstollen, it's only a short distance to Wüstenrot, where the tour ends.
