As the name suggests, the Bone Tour is a challenging 45-kilometre route. It is the tour with the most ascent: 1804 meters of altitude have to be overcome.
Some steep and downhill sections require good stamina and endurance. But bikers are rewarded with varied sections of trail and magnificent views. The Schaumberg with its alpine pasture, where you can take a break, is worth seeing along the route. The Blasius Chapel or parts of the Sculpture Road invite you to take a short tour. The Schaumberg itself has the highest gradients of all, and is indeed something for the bones. However, the short loop around the Schaumberg can also be ridden on its own as a test tour. If you still can't get enough, you can switch to MTB 4 at Theley and head towards Primstalsperre Nonnweiler or continue on MTB 2 along the sculpture road.
