Description by the author

Starting from the Engelsbrunnen fountain in Neudenau, you will hike through great history and follow historical traces on this tour.

Experience two charming half-timbered towns and a horse whisperer from ancient times on this sporty day stage with a good 500 meters of elevation gain on the Jagst cultural hiking trail.

Start your tour past the 800-year-old St. Gangolf Chapel at the Engelsbrunnen fountain on the Neudenau market square. The water from the fountain of the St. Gangolf Chapel is said to have healing powers and even today, people from near and far have their horses blessed every year during the St. Gangolf ride at the old chapel.
