Description

The highlight of the tour are the Hahnenkleeklippen cliffs in the Harz National Park. These viewpoint rocks, 200 m above the impressive Odertal valley, offer a magnificent view into the valley and towards the opposite Rehberg and the Rehberger Graben running along the slope. The mountain meadows of Sankt Andreasberg can also be seen from here.
For a rest, the Waldgaststätte Rinderstall is a good option to recharge before heading back to Braunlage. The tour leads you through the picturesque Unteres Drecktal valley, passing by the Silberteich lake back to the starting point of the hike.

Directions

You start on Herzog-Johann-Albrecht-Str. and always follow the symbol of Tour 6.
Soon you will reach the Hahnenkleeklippen. Then you follow the Hahnenkleer Waldstraße for a while and always keep heading towards Waldgaststätte Rinderstall. From there, you are already on your way back, always heading towards Braunlage. The tour first takes you towards Waldmühle, then to Silberteich. You cross the B 4 and return to the starting point.
