Nature experiences and industrial history combined in a bike tour: Starting from the city center of Dessau, the tour leads through Mildensee to the Oranienbaumer Heide. In this nature reserve, numerous species of animals and plants have settled. Interestingly, the care of the area is carried out by wild Heck cattle and Konik horses. The destination of this tour is Ferropolis - the city of iron. Five excavators from the former lignite open-cast mine form the backdrop for a unique open-air museum that vividly illustrates the structural change of the region.
