Pilgern im Remstal (7) - Alles fließt: Waiblingen bis Neckarrems

Art-historical treasures in Waiblingen's churches, followed by Rems floodplains, meadows and water, water, water. The Rems at its most beautiful - on foot or by bike - 13 km to Neckar.

The last of the seven pilgrimage stages in the Rems Valley starts in Waiblingen at St. Michael's Church. The problem: you want to stay here right away - this is due both to the 15th century hall church with its beautiful ribbed vault and the valley meadows below the church with a view of the Rems, pavilions, flowers... and deckchairs that invite you to laze around.

The path is completely flat and asphalted or finely gravelled except for about 300 meters - its charm lies in its immediate proximity to the Rems and the beautiful views of the viaduct, vineyards, floodplains or quarry. But above all, the Rems makes this uncomplicated stage a pleasure for anyone who loves easy, flat paths - or a bike. The destination is the Michael Sebastian Church in Remseck and then, of course, the Neckar beach in Neckerrems, where the Rems flows into the Neckar.
