Biking from Überlingen to Affenberg Salem - an ideal cycle tour for families

Our route takes us east from Überlingen landing site towards Nußdorf. We follow the Lake Constance cycle path and in Nußdorf, at the end of the road Zum Kretzer, we turn left under the railroad tracks and cross the road into Zum Karpfen. This is followed by Zum Döbel the next "fish street", into which we turn right. The path now leads under the main road into the countryside towards Deisendorf. We follow the path through the wooded landscape and turn left at the Deisendorf barbecue area into Seefelder Kirchweg/Riedbachstraße . We leave this at the junction to the right into Salemer Weg and follow the cycle path signs for Bodensee-Linzgau to Affenberg.

On the way back, we leave the Affenberg straight ahead into the Prälatenweg, which takes us past the Nellenfurther Weiher pond to the Birnau monastery church. From there, the Lake Constance cycle path leads us along the lake back to Überlingen.If you still have energy left at the end of the tour, you can test yourself with a game of mini golf or cool off at one of the two lidos along the way.
