From Oberteuringen, you walk along the Rotach, past magnificent impressions of nature, former mills and the oldest building in the town of Friedrichshafen to where the Rotach flows into Lake Constance.
The hike along the Rotach, which flows through the entire town area from north to south, offers a surprisingly diverse experience. You will gain magnificent impressions of nature in a river valley that has remained very pristine for long stretches and come across traces of history of various kinds: a chain of six former mills with the remains of their water technology facilities, the town's oldest building, the St. Blasius chapel, which has received little attention, and a former monastery. Arriving at the "Rommele", as the area where the Rotach flows into Lake Constance is popularly known, is the grand finale. Here you are in one of the most beautiful places on the entire shore of Lake Constance.</p
