Forests, meadows and ponds in the north of Friedrichshafen.
This hike takes you to the northern part of the town to the Unterweiher pond surrounded by woodland. The pond, together with the mill built as an energy source, is a rare medieval technical monument. The trail initially stretches through the Brochenzell forest before leading back past the Ettenkirch high plateau. The contrast between dense forest and open terrain with a fantastic view of the hilly Allgäu and the distant Alpine peaks make the hike a special experience.
