Beautiful hiking tour up to the heights of the Birkhof and Höhreute.
The tour starts at the nature conservation center in Wilhelmsdorf. It is definitely worth paying a visit here before or after the hike. There is lots of information about the moor and its inhabitants. The trail also leads up to the Birkhof and Höhreute. From there, especially in good weather, you have a wide view as far as the Alps. Back in Wilhelmsdorf, the café at the town hall offers the opportunity to take a breather.
