In Forchtenberg-Sindringen the route leads uphill past the Roman Limes border wall, which led from Öhringen into the Jagsttal valley.
The tour leads towards Schöntal via Holzweiler Hof . A detour to the pilgrimage chapel Neusaß, which is idyllically framed by the fish ponds of Schöntal Monastery, is worthwhile on the hill before Schöntal.
Schöntal Monastery is considered the pearl of the Jagst Valley and is a popular tourist destination. Götz von Berlichingen found his burial place here after an eventful time.</p
