Seven Lakes Tour: From times past

Around the so-called Wannsee Island, the tour leads from the Kleiner Wannsee through the Pohlsee to the Stölpchensee. It should be mentioned here that the settlement was first mentioned in a document in 1299 and is considered the oldest preserved village center in Berlin. Past the 1859 evangelical church, the tour continues through the Prinz-Leopold-Kanal to the Griebnitzsee. Take a break at the lovingly restored Söhnel Werft with beer garden. Klein Glienicke was a GDR enclave on West Berlin territory during GDR times. On the left, the Babelsberg Palace Park begins with the palace, on the right is the hunting lodge and behind it is Schloss Kleinglienicke. Passing under the Glienicker Brücke towards the north, you will see the Sacrower Heilandskirche. After crossing the former inner-German border, paddle on towards Pfaueninsel. Upstream, you will reach the Großer Wannsee with the famous beach.
