Description

The Droyßig rail is the starting point of the Bear Paws Trail, a homage to the former Zeitz-Camburg railway line.
Over 70 bear paws were laid here, leading to various stops of the audio guide. Children especially enjoy this animal-themed local tour!
The audio guide can be accessed via mobile phone, is acoustically illustrated, and narrated by students from the CJD school.
Besides the castle, the Droyßig institutions have significantly shaped the towns history. They represent 170 years of higher education. This was where Prussias first female teachers were trained.

Of course, you will also learn the origin of the Bear Paws Trails name. Droyßig has a long tradition with bears: The elusive bear Sultan managed to explore his hometown twice.
The Droyßig Bear Paws Trail was supported by the federal program Living Democracy!
