On this 18-kilometer long, level water route, the focus is - as the name suggests - on the cool water in various contexts. "Water stations" include the Lippesee, the Boker-Heide Canal, the Rothebach Aqueduct, the Boker Heide Waterworks, the gravel pits near Bentfeld, as well as the Paderborn sewage treatment plant and the Lippe, the longest river in North Rhine-Westphalia. The route mainly runs on asphalted field paths through the flat terrain between Paderborn-Sande and Delbrück.
