The historic town center with the church of St. Pankratius is located along the wayside, as well as Strauweiler Castle and Altenberg Cathedral. Countless half-timbered houses from the Bergisches Land region, the old manor house Amtmannscherf, Berge Castle, the Erberich refuge castle, and an approximately 380 million-year-old seabed await discovery along the way.
