A3 - Hike to Lohne

The approximately 7 km long hiking trail A3 starts at the town hall and leads from there via the Landwehr and the Landerpfad towards Lohne to the farmstead "Unter den Bäumen". It continues through Lohne passing numerous venerable farmsteads towards Schallern. Those interested can take a short detour to the town center to visit the remarkable Lohner Mühle (today a work station for Biological Environmental Protection in the district of Soest) and the Protestant Church St. Pantaleon. From Lohne, a field path leads through the Ahse nature reserve back to Bad Sassendorf, passing by the Rumkerhof motorhome parking and the Lindenplatz clinic. The route continues through the spa park, passing by the Wiesengrund clinic, through Wiesenstraße and Salzstraße towards the town center. From Jahnplatz, it's only a few steps to the town hall. Path conditions: asphalted agricultural roads, paved paths in the spa park, approx. 1 km of natural paths; Dining options: at the beginning/end of the tour
