The route mostly runs through scenic areas. First, you pass the Vaetshof and continue on to the Rheurdter Höhen, a terminal moraine from the Saale era. Heading back towards Aldekerk, you reach the Berger Kirchweg. Here you first pass the St. Brigitten Holy Shrine. The wayside shrine is dedicated to Saint Bridget. In 1816, a resident of Rahm was struck by lightning here. To this day, supplication and thanksgiving processions are held here. Shortly after, you reach the St. Antonius Chapel. The original chapel dates back to around 1500. Throughout its eventful history, the chapel has been partially or completely renovated several times. Most recently, it was completely renovated in 1967/68.
