The hallmark of this tour is a particularly high number of highlights of various kinds. Starting at Rheinpark, the tour crosses the Rhine via the Hochfelder Eisenbahnbrücke and leads through Logport 1, an important logistics center of the Duisburg inland port. Thousands of cars and containers are loaded here daily. On the other side of the Rhine, the view opens up to the Krupp Mannesmann ironworks and the Heinrich-Hildebrand-Höhe, where the impressive sculpture Tiger & Turtle perches. Arriving at the idyllic village of Friemersheim on the Rhine dike, the tour passes through some left-bank districts and green areas. Finally, the tour leads back to the Rhine. Always along the Rhine, it is eventually crossed again. At the mouth of the Ruhr, it goes upstream towards Duisburg Innenhafen and through the city back to Rheinpark.
