From Bad Lauterberg to Bad Sachsa, the 4th stage of the BaudenSteig leads. From the spa park in Bad Lauterberg, it goes over the Oder towards Wiesenbeker Teich, a reservoir built by Lauterberg miners long ago. Today, there is a boat rental and a hut for a stopover on the lakeshore. After that, there are still some altitude meters to overcome until Ravensberg. The 64 m high tower is striking. It served as a listening post during the Cold War. Just before Ravensberg is the Three Lords' Stone. Until 1866, the Kingdom of Prussia, the Kingdom of Hanover, and the Duchy of Brunswick bordered each other here. From Ravensberg (659 m above sea level), you can see all the way to Brocken and far into the Thuringian countryside in clear weather. In winter, the ski center at Ravensberg entices with truly steep descents, beautiful cross-country ski trails, and toboggan runs. Soon you can see Bad Sachsa in the valley. As early as 1864, spa guests were sent to Sachsa by external doctors. Bad Sachsa now offers numerous spa facilities, a beautiful bathing landscape, and a cozy old town as a stage destination. The Harzfalkenhof and the fairytale park are also an experience for children.
