The cultural landscape of the Aller floodplain between Heide and Barnbruch is the result of a long relationship between humans and nature. It has left traces in the landscape, in minds, and in books. The Aller floodplain adventure trail sets out in search - come along!
The trail explores the Aller river and its floodplain, looking back into the past and ahead into the future. The lives of the Osloß citizens with their river are given a face here. The adventure trail builds a bridge from the place through a floodplain cultural landscape into the Barnbruch, where new wilderness is emerging in some places. At six stations, the formation of the unique Aller Urstromtal and its further development under human influence are discussed.
