Through the Flora Westfalica Park (free entry)

From the center of the city, the path first leads us through the Ems meadows southwards to Lake Ems in Wiedenbrück. A short stroll through the old town or a break by the lake are recommended. Children love the water playground there!
Then the path takes us north past the Odzuck Pavilion and the skatepark "Altes Klärwerk". Here you can play a round of beach volleyball yourself or simply relax while watching the "action" of skaters and BMX riders.
After crossing under the A2 motorway, you can enjoy the natural Alder Carr woodland, which leads you to Rheda Water Castle. Also in Rheda, a short detour into the quaint old town alleys is recommended! On the way back to the city hall, you will pass by the "Spielerei", which in the summer half-year offers various opportunities for a relaxed stay for both children and adults.
