Eating-Kettwig to Mülheim-Selbeck
We start at the Rindersberger Mühle, which can look back on an impressive, 550-year history. Then it goes quickly up into the forest, and we experience: fallen trees, narrow forest paths, rushing streams. Up and down again and again.
The neanderland STEIG presents itself wild and romantic around Schloss Landsberg. The castle has belonged to the Thyssen family for over a hundred years. The remains of the extensive forest park can still be seen. We continue past fields and horse paddocks and reach the Mintarder Berg district of Ratingen at the end of a mini-canyon. Then just over the highway and we are already in Selbeck, in the south of Mülheim/Ruhr.
