Experience nature on foot at heights of up to 300 meters and over a distance of about 5 km. Around 20 years ago, the "Bonstapel Nature Trail" was created in Vlotho with the aim of bringing people closer to nature and nature closer to people.
This very attractive circular hiking trail extends for approximately 5 km through the valley of the upper Linnenbeeke, past the mysterious "Seven Springs" up to Röntorfer Straße, past the shelter Steinbründorf between Nettelberg and Großer Selberg, and then back down to the starting point at Hohenhausener Straße at Kleiner Selberg.
A total of 14 information boards along the wayside provide interesting information to walkers about the local flora and fauna, and point out other attractions.
