Blomensteinweg

The hiking trail requires a little bit of stamina due to the long ascent to the hamlet Blomenstein. Except for a section near the quiet forest of Wendlinghausen, it is also suitable for strollers. This section can easily be bypassed by staying on the asphalt road when ascending to Blomenstein, instead of turning left into the forest. The paths merge again in the small hamlet on the hilltop.
From the parking lot on Blomensteiner Weg, follow the uphill asphalt road and turn left towards Kohlberg after about 500 meters. In wet weather, alternatively stay on the asphalt road. Through the hamlet Blomenstein, continue straight ahead slightly downhill to the edge of the forest above the settlement of Sommersell. There, the path leads to the right along the forest, later sharply right in the forest and then twice left downhill to the edge of the forest. Keep right on the gravel road to the mountain pass and walk downhill on the asphalt road towards Wendlinghausen. At the level of Pension Falk, turn right and you will reach the field barn on the left towards Blomensteiner Weg. On the right, you will reach the parking lot again.
