The historic Fürstenberg is the starting point for an eventful short hike. The starting point is the Old Court Fürstenberg, built in 1736 and still representing the civil and criminal jurisdiction of the Paderborn region from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century. Expansive views between green fields overlooking the castle of the Count of Westphalia, idyllic forest above the Aabach reservoir, and the bubbling Karpke with its small ponds make this circular tour a varied nature and cultural experience.
