On this 6 km long hike, there are several resting places available, so it's worth taking a backpack with provisions. The trail quality ranges from paved forest roads to dirt paths and even muddy forest worker paths. Therefore, the trail is better not to be hiked after rainy weather. The Reihersee with a stamp station at the local shelter offers beautiful experiences along the route. The subsequent ascent to the ridge trail is challenging, as the forest worker path is very muddy when wet. A tree has fallen along a clearing, so the trail route must be adjusted; please find your way individually to the forest road. A planned connecting path through a spruce forest later between trails No. 13 and No. 14 was difficult to locate in the summer of 2021 - here, too, a spirit of discovery is required to get through. So, this trail also offers something for adventurers.
