Lake District Route

The route leads through the young Lausitz Lake District. Formerly, the landscape was characterized by lignite open-cast mines, which are now gradually being transformed into water paradises. The landscape varies from already flooded lakes to barren shores of former coal mines. One has the opportunity to take a break at one of the bathing lakes, refresh oneself while swimming, or go sailing. Regardless of the water worlds, there are still other things to discover.
