After crossing Federal Highway 158, you will pass through the village to the parish church, an imposing granite block building from the second half of the 13th century. The church is richly furnished inside, including paintings from the former rule of Canitz. On the church grounds, you can still see tombstones from 1734 and 1744. Along the grounds of the castle, which burned down in 1945, you will then come to the park designed by Peter Joseph Lenné, where you will meet the circular path.
With its magnificent sightlines, ancient oaks, and lovingly designed paths and bridges, it is undoubtedly the jewel of the former small town of Blumberg.
The tour is suitable for families as the paths are well paved.
Arrival / Departure: By regional train on line RB25 (Berlin Ostkreuz - Werneuchen), exit at Blumberg station. By car via Federal Highway B158 (parking available at Blumberg station).
