Description

From the Kurhaus Sankt Andreasberg uphill to Clausthaler-Straße and then turn right, down to Braunlager-Straße.

Then the first street "Am Gesehr" left uphill and continue straight up to Jordanshöhe. Between the Naturfreundehaus (left) and the Eichsfelderhütte (right), it goes downhill to Rehberger Graben towards Rehberger Grabenhaus. At the first intersection, follow the sign "Rinderstall" downhill. Via Lochchaussee, it goes slightly downhill through a unique Harz forest landscape to Odertalstraße, which you follow to the right to Rinderstall.

Here, in good snow conditions, you can enjoy a nice tobogganing (approx. 3 km descent) or continue to Oderhaus towards the National Park administration. After the approx. 8 km hike, you can easily take the bus back to Sankt Andreasberg from Oderhaus.
