A historical city center, pure nature enjoyment, refreshing swimming breaks, and finally urban flair – the Stechlin Lake Cycle Path has a lot to offer: It connects Gransee's old town, the Stechlin Nature Park House in Menz, the enchanting village of Neuglobsow on Lake Stechlin, and the water city of Fürstenberg/Havel with its large marketplace and impressive city church.
Once mostly a railway line, today a cycle path: On long stretches, this tour from the historical city center of Gransee over the legendary Stechlin Lake to Fürstenberg/Havel feels like riding on rails. And when it gets a bit more technically challenging, there's usually a good reason: You are at one of the many Fontane locations along this bike tour. Besides wonderful clear lakes and beautiful beech forests, it's okay to encounter some truly historical cobblestones!
