North Sea Run

The EWE Nordseelauf 2022 takes place from 18.06. to 25.06.2022. Every day, a run is held on one of the East Frisian Islands. Under the motto "Don't stop, run against violence," a total of 67.7 km are run on the seven islands - a run takes place every day. The routes are as varied as the islets on which they take place: sometimes along the beach, sometimes through the dunes ... but the routes are guaranteed to be incredibly beautiful!
During the Nordseelauf, it's not necessary to complete every stage, but you can choose the most beautiful one. And if you are running late, don't have vacation time, or for any other reason? No problem! Even outside the official Nordseelauf, you can walk in the footsteps of the participants as a runner - just without the thunderous applause of the audience.

The Nordseelauf on Juist
One of Juist's biggest attractions is definitely the kilometer-long sandy beach - and you will have plenty of it during your running route! The tour starts in the town center. From the spa square, it goes straight to the beach. There, you can enjoy the wonderful North Sea, but be careful -- due to the wind and the fine sand, this route is also a challenge. It's best to run directly at the water's edge. The fine saltwater mist has a "thalasso" effect. After your run on the beach, you return to the spa square.
