The circular trail with the ant' marking leads around Zwieslerwaldhaus without any steps and with only slight inclines. It is therefore also suitable for wheelchairs and baby carriages. The circular trail is certified by the German Hiking Association as a Wanderbares Deutschland quality trail in the 'comfort hiking' category. The Mittelsteighütte primeval forest area along the route, which begins just behind the houses of Zwieslerwaldhaus, is home to mighty fir, beech and spruce trees. Its abundance of dead wood makes it a refuge for rare species of fungi and insects.
