The hiking trail marked with a red line is a connecting trail between Großharthau and Großröhrsdorf, which leads through the Massenei for long stretches. North of Großröhrsdorf, the hiking trail connects to the "Westlausitz Rundweg" and "Lichtenberger Weg" hiking trails. At the train station in Großröhrsdorf, there is a connection to the "Wesenitztalweg" to Stolpen. This makes it an excellent short-distance hiking trail with good public transport connections.
