Radeltour 2 - zum Saurierpark und seinen Nachbarn

From Gerberstraße, the tour uses the Saxon city cycle path (red "S") leading north-west. Past old fortified towers and a charming stretch of the Spree, the granite rocks of Schützenplatz, the route leads out of the old town. The old factory on the left was the most modern paper factory in Europe around 1900 and later produced concrete.
The Temritzer Weg is also used on Easter Sunday by the Sorbian Easter riders, who bring the message of resurrection on their way from Bautzen to Radibor. Along the way, there are charming views of the many-towered town and a number of small monuments.
Whether it's the "Mitoseum" and the new volcanic landscape in the park, the many play and tobogganing opportunities or the "Forgotten World" - there is so much to see and experience that it's worth spending 4 hours or more here. There are of course several places to eat and drink on site.
On the way back, you will pass the "Bautz'ner" factory, where the delicious Bautz'ner mustard is produced.
