Kulturinsel Einsiedel (Tour 8 im Landkreis Görlitz)

You start your 49-kilometre cycle tour in the easternmost village in Germany - in Zentendorf on the cultural island of Einsiedel. There you will find an adventure park made entirely of wood with a museum tree house, a magic castle and Germany's first tree house hotel. The Neisse accompanies you all the way to the town of Rothenburg/O.L.. In Rothenburg/O.L., take time for a short detour to one of the oldest landscape parks in Upper Lusatia or to the easternmost airfield in Germany. A boat tour on the Neiße, which can be organized individually or in an organized way, will be an unforgettable experience.
Enjoy the peace and quiet over the next few kilometers - past meadows, fields and forests. Once you arrive in Niesky, a visit to the museum and a walk through the old wooden house settlements are well worthwhile. You can relax in the leisure park with swimming pool and sports facilities before continuing your tour. We recommend a detour to Horka to visit the fortified church before continuing to the Biehain forest lake. You can also swim and camp here. Cycle comfortably back to the cultural island of Einsiedel.
