This tour is one of the seven "IVV circular hiking trails Sankt Wendeler Land" with a length between 7 and 22 kilometers - which have a total route length of around 120 kilometers. The start and finish of all hikes is the Sankt Wendeler Land tourist information office at Bostalsee.

The seven trails can be hiked in their entirety or in individual stages, which must be completed within three years. Each participant can determine the order of the routes to be hiked themselves. All routes are marked with IVV signs and numbers.A prerequisite for the evaluation of the routes is the IVV hiking guide, which can be purchased in the online store or on site at the Sankt Wendeler Land tourist information office. After completing all the routes, you can receive the IVV ranking stamp and certificate here. A colorful embroidered fabric patch can also be purchased on site.The International Volkssportverband (IVV) enables participants to earn various awards. For example, hikes can be counted towards the International Volkssport Badge. The 120 kilometers of the IVV hiking trails in the Sankt Wendel region are recognized as kilometers for the badge, and the first certificate can be issued by the German Volkssportverband after 500 km. Conditions for the IVV classification
A fixed control point - the IVV stamp clock - is located in the always accessible anteroom of the Sankt Wendeler Land tourist information office at Bostalsee. This is the start and finish point of each stage.
At the start and end of each stage, you must stamp the start and arrival times on the back cover of this hiking brochure. There are also one or more self-checkpoints along the route, which are mentioned in the descriptions. These must be entered in this hiking brochure on the penultimate page.
Rating
The tourist information office confirms the completed routes with rating stamps. You will receive a total of seven IVV rating stamps for the 120 kilometers.
Certificate
Once you have completed all the routes and filled out all the controls, you can have a certificate issued at the tourist information office.
Participation
Anybody can take part, but children up to the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The hiking brochure is a prerequisite for obtaining an IVV rating stamp. A further hiking brochure can only be purchased once all hikes have been scored.</p
