Goldsteig-Zuweg Nr. 24B Bodenwöhr - Birkhof (Süd)

When you leave the art and water trail, turn right, past the Fischerhaus company, the bus shelter, in front of Gasthof Schießl, with its home-style cooking, in the direction of the town center parking lot. Follow the markings "blue S on a white background". Follow the first road along the parking lot to the end. Here you turn left, along the premises of the Fischerhaus company, you come to a bridge, which you cross, you follow the road through the railroad underpass, through the Sandtal valley until you reach a sharp bend, on the right it goes to Hinterrandsberg. A sandy road leads ahead of you to a fork, keep right here. Walking through the forest, you come to a clearing which you follow to the end, then turn right and after a short distance turn left again and continue through the forest. You are now on the right forest path to the "Birkenhof". After a long stretch in the forest, you will reach the main route of the Goldsteig, which leads you along a field path to the "Birkhof" and in the direction of Mappach.
