Lamer-Winkel-Arber-Radweg

The Lamer-Winkel-Arber cycle path runs mostly on asphalted cycle paths or on side roads with little traffic from Miltach via Bad Kötzting, Grafenwiesen, Hohenwarth, Arrach, Lam and Lohberghütte over the Brennes at the foot of the Großer Arber to Bayerisch-Eisenstein. The first longer climbs challenge the cyclists after the end of Lam and after Lohberghütte the eight-kilometer climb towards Brennes begins. Approx. 430 meters in altitude have to be overcome. Your efforts are rewarded with natural wonders large and small, such as moorland landscapes, babbling brooks, ancient trees and, as the altitude increases, stunningly beautiful "Bavarian Forest views". Breathtaking panoramic views in all directions make up for the one or other "calf-biter" and unforgettable impressions remain in the memory of the athletes for a long time. From the Brennessattel, the route continues downhill towards Bayerisch Eisenstein. Our tip: The Regental cycle path leads from Bayerisch Eisenstein back to Miltach.
