Freibachweg

From the tourist information office, walk to the traffic lights. Here we turn left into Krankenhausstraße and stay on this path for approx. 1.5 km. We pass the turn-offs (left) to the nature trail, (right) to St. Anna's Chapel, a group of death boards, sound installations and benches. From here we can enjoy a wide panoramic view. We continue along the Nk2, past a farm, come to a tarred road, cross it, pass the Freibachtaler death board group and continue towards the forest on the field path. Shortly after the forest tongue, we turn left and after approx. 300 m come to the Brünst restaurant, where you can usually stop for a bite to eat on Sundays. From here, we walk along the edge of the forest, reach a field path and follow it to the left until we reach a tarred road. There we turn right, cross the Freibach stream, meet the Freibachtal road, which we follow to the right for approx. 50 m, then turn left, walk through the forest, continue along the field path, come to the tarred road and continue along it to the left. We reach the houses of the Au settlement on this low-traffic road. Following the Nk2 markings, we reach Neukirchen b.Hl.Blut after approx. 1 km and turn left into Hohenbogenstraße, which leads to the tourist information office.
