Rundweg Blaibacher See - Höllensteinsee - Blaibach

After the Regenbrücke bridge, turn left in Kreuzbach and walk past the campsite, 1.5 km upstream. In Pulling to the left of the Regen, walk past the sawmill on the left to the Blaibacher See parking lot and cross the new bicycle bridge over the Blaibacher See barrage (power station). After this bridge, turn right along the shore. With the lake and then the Schwarzer Regen on your right, you will reach the Höllensteinsee after 5 km. There is an inn on the viewing rock on the left. Cross the dam to reach the power station and continue downstream on the right. The path soon turns left away from the Regen and leads you to the hamlet of Ahrain. Descending through meadows, you reach a forest, through which the path climbs slightly again. After the forest, the Lehen farmstead with an interesting chapel lies to the left of the road. Now follow the tarred road to Wimbach and Untergschaidt. Shortly after Untergschaidt, the hiking trail branches off the road to the right. You will come to the Haselstauden and Hetzenberg pastures. After the Hetzenberg chapel, the trail descends through the forest. After the forest, you cross the state road and pass the Pension Waldhaus before returning to the road in Kreuzbach where you started your hike.
