Tour 20: Cham - Untertraubenbach - Nanzing - Radling - Wilting - Vilzing - Chammünster - Cham

The Rötelsee pond area in the Regental floodplain begins behind Michelsdorf ¬ a nature reserve of national importance. Worth seeing in Untertraubenbach is the parish church of St. Martin. From Untertraubenbach, it is worth making a detour to the pilgrimage church in Sträucherröhren. To the south-east of the village, Thierlstein Castle is enthroned on a quartz rock of the pile. Former residential stables can be seen in Obertraubenbach and Penting. A detour to the Hötzing estate is also worthwhile. Worth seeing in Loifling: Churpfalzpark family leisure park and moated castle. In Wilting: Leonhard's Church (15th century). From the hamlet of Hanzing via Vilzing and Gutmaning we reach Hof. A detour to the Lamberg is recommended here, although it will cost you a lot of sweat as it is steeply uphill. The sweeping view makes up for the effort. The pilgrimage church of St. Walburga stands on the site of a former castle, the core of which dates back to pre-Carolingian times. You return to Cham via Chammünster (see Tour 13) and Altenstadt.
