Bodenmais is very easy to reach by public transport. Especially by train. You can start your Goldsteig tour directly from the Bodenmais hiking parking lot. From here you can quickly reach the main Goldsteig route. The white/blue markings take you past the Rißloch waterfalls on idyllic forest paths up the Kleiner Arber to the Chamer Hütte. Here you can take a leisurely break.
