3-Seen-Blick

We hike across wide meadows and pastures via Vorderkirnberg to Dreiseenblick near Geigersau, make a detour to Sonnenbichl and finally return to Böbing via Kirnberg and Bromberg, where we can stop for refreshments. On the way, we enjoy magnificent views to the south of the Alps and to the north of the Ammersee, Starnberger See and Staffelsee lakes. But the Upper Bavarian municipality of Böbing, where our tour starts, is also beautifully situated in the middle of the pre-alpine landscape with views of the mountains.

Way description:

We start the tour to Dreiseenblick in the center of Böbing, at the parking lot on Schulstraße, where we briefly follow Kirchstraße. Before we reach the parish church of St. Georg, we turn right and follow a footpath that soon turns into a paved road. Turn right again and we leave the village. A long field path follows, where you cross the Röthenbach stream and shortly afterwards there is a large wayside cross on the left. The path then leads into the Kirnberg forest. At the first fork, a path branches off to the right up to open meadows. At the top, turn left along the edge of the forest. A footpath follows, which soon turns into a field path again and leads up to Vorderkirnberg. At the first junction, we turn right and walk slightly downhill for approx. 200m, then left over the Ruhebach stream. Now we follow a field path slightly uphill for the most part with beautiful views of the mountains. This takes us to Geigersau to the Dreiseenblick (Lakes Ammer, Starnberg and Staffelsee) and further south to Sonnenbichl. At the viewpoint, we walk approx. 1.2 km along the same path back to the Brombergalm junction. We then head north across open meadows down to the alpine pasture (refreshments available). The path leads approx. 400m downhill along the edge of the forest to the Sprengeisbach district. At the "Maria Trost" chapel, we turn left, walk past paddocks and across an open meadow to the Pierlingweg trail.

After crossing the Schlichtenbach stream, the trail continues westwards. This is followed by short sections of Unterhettweg and Steinleweg to the Steinlekapelle chapel. A short section of asphalt path then leads downhill to the crossing of the Steinleweg. Now there is a longer footpath in a north-westerly direction to the already known path, which then leads back to Böbing.
