The Journey
This territory with its multiple natural riches and preserved environments will appeal to those who stray for a moment from the usual routes of Alsace. The term Ried means bulrush (reed). "Ried" is extended to landscapes of floodable meadows and forests with lush vegetation. Discover the nature reserves, "giessen" (groundwater sources) and "brunnwasser" (groundwater rivers) as well as the flower-filled villages to immerse yourself in the heritage of the Ried. We also offer you the chance to cross the Rhine by taking the cross-border ferry, to reach one of the largest amusement parks in Europe: Europa Park, for a journey full of emotions.
