The Three Mill Waterfalls: a beautiful piece of the Eifel

Very nice varied hike along Kerpen Castle to the Dreimühlen waterfall and the ruins. You start in the friendly village of Kerpen, where you can also enjoy a snack and a drink afterwards. You can park at the beginning of the hike (follow the signs to the reservoir). For most of the hike, follow the long-distance hiking trail "de Eifelsteig". Only at the end of the hike do you leave the Eifelsteig and follow the markings of hiking trail no. 15. You can easily walk this route without GPS, it is very well signposted.
Especially on unpaved roads and especially in wet periods, good footwear is a must, because then it can get dirty and downright slippery. In addition, a very easy hike with no significant differences in altitude. Very suitable also with dogs, as it is very traffic-free or low-traffic and often along the water.
